Position Summary
This position is responsible for creating, testing, ensuring the quality of, and maintaining a product or product line. The Software Engineer will perform complex code modification, testing, and debugging tasks as well as provide high-level analysis related to software design and development.
The BlazeMeter Continuous Testing Platform is a unified, end-to-end, next-generation software test automation platform built for both Agile and COE teams. BlazeMeter includes complete continuous testing capabilities deeply integrated into a single, intuitive workflow. We have a clear vision for the future of service-powered software and the tools that will be required to build the next generation of applications.
We deploy on GCP, build & consume APIs, and are built to scale. We’re looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of highly available services and zero-downtime systems.
The tools you build will directly impact other developers and having a strong product vision is important for this role. You’ll need to be able to understand complex interactions and be a voice for the customer as you engineer the next generation of developer tools.

Responsible for assigned integration, testing, and deployment tasks.

Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Typically, 3+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with complex systems, and Enterprise applications

SaaS mindset
-
Any cloud experience (GCP, AWS) desirable

Software development experience in Python is mandatory
-
Hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes is mandatory
-
Advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting, and sharp debugging skills
-
Experience working with JavaScript and its frameworks( like Express, JS, React.js) is highly desirable

Experience with Microservices architecture and basics of system design

Databases: Postgres DB, Redis, or MongoDB– (Any one or more DB knowledge)

Worked in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc)

Nice to have – Experience in Software Development with Java/PHP
